In the spring im planning on sanding of the black cherry and have my maverick sprayed satin black, I think it would look sick with the cobras, tinted windows, a new mach1 scoop and billet grille. One member up here mentioned using the pait color Blitz black from Jhon Deere. From what I have seen online it comes out really good and Is tough paint. dose anyone know if it requires reducer and hardner like regular auto paint? there is a Jhon Deere store within walking distance from my house so one day Im goin to go by and see how much would a gallon of it would cost.

Deere's paint is sold as ready to spray but can be reduced. They say it can even be brushed but I would shy away from that. One thing to note about the Blitz Black is it does not fully cure and needs to be completely removed before you recoat with another paint. Their paints are manufactured by Valspar so if you need any info call Valspar and they can answer them. For what it's worth I spent 17 years behind a Deere dealer's parts counter which is where I learned about this product.

Any issues with it fading or chalking? Does it have UV blockers in it?

We never seemed to have any issues with it here and UV damage is a problem. They used that paint on the tool boxes, roll bars and cab posts and it holds up very well.
