blue with white stripe wire?

    Is that my cig lighter wire I can use for power for installing a car stereo head unit?

    Light blue with a white trace is for the lighter.

    If it is just the "always on" side of the radio to keep the clock and program settings, it will be fine. Depends on amp draw for your radio if it is suitable or not as a total power supply. Usually that is a switched supply to go off with the key.

    Ok yea thats what I meant for a switched, now ive read people connecting power wire to fuse box? How do I do that when I jus checked out the fuse box its the tube type fuses

    There 2 white and with purple striped wires I was told was b+ can I use this as my constant power sourse instead of fuse

    Use a fused source, its better than burning something up.

    So I can use any of the wires that are from the fuse box to tap into for constant power?

    Alrite im lookina at all these other threads and they all keep contradicting. In this post someone said not to use cig lighter as constant and I jus read in another you are. If so whats the switch wire connect too
