    Does anyone know where to get fiberglass or carbon fiber body parts. i need front and rear bumpers

    70 mav, 71 grabber, 73 Comet, 2004 f-250 crew cab diesel, 2001 f-250, 2004 explorer, 2007 Gold Wing trike.
    Most body parts have to come from donor cars. However there are a few fiberglass parts. Do a search in the search forum. There's lots of info there. Maverickman makes a nice carbon fiber Grabber hood. He's in California. Do a search for that as well. :)

    Ive been doing a lot of searching and i think i might have to make some glass bumpers or buy ones for another car and make them fit. trying to sell the stock ones locally on craigslist atm

    what im trying to do is get something that doesnt stick out so far and is light weight and i hate the big bulky bumpers the smaller bumpers look way beter

    Swap over to the small bumpers then, not that hard. And you can use your existing fenders.

    No one makes any decent glass ones.

    2005 Rx8 with mods... hopefuly some time soon I will have another maverick and have time to work on it!
    You would need to find a donor car and do a small bumper conversion or post a wanted ad in the want ad section of this forum.

    I bought a set of 70-72 fiberglass bumpers from Unlimted Products.

    They are very good quality and finish.

    $129 each, so not exactly cheap.

    Probably not the best idea for a street driven car either, they won't offer any resistance in an impact.

    I may stick w/ rechroming the original bumpers though, after what my wife did to her Subaru this summer! I'm worried.
