ok my maverick friends, tim has been doing some research and i found a great deal on bolt in 9 inch rearends for the maverick. i checked with moser eng, currie ent, mark williams, and art morrison. but the best set up for the price is from QUICK PERFORMANCE RACING. the owner is brydon phone# 641-751-8060 i contacted him and this is his package. 9 inch rearend with moser axles, axle bearings, wheel studs and retainers, 31 spline 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern 1/2 studs. center section new 31 spline trac lock posi new motive gears timken bearings completly assembled with disc brakes for 1750.00 now i compared this to all of the others and he was at least 500.00 cheaper and in some cases 1000.00 cheaper. he offers other options such as 11 inch drum brake kits or no brakes and will have stock ends so you can use the brakes that you have now. also offers wilwood disc brakes you can contact him for prices. i was going to go with a new center section that was rebuilt with new gears and then add a set of new moser axles to my stock rearend. but the price would have been 1150.00 the center section was 850.00 and the axles were 300.00 i dont know maybee its just me but for 650.00 more to have a 9 inch rearend with disc brakes ready to bolt in is the way to go. thats what i will do. then in the future if i want to go with some real horsepower i will be set. hope this helps tim.

That's a good price. I got my 9 inch from currie but, I wanted the torque sensitive diff. I paid a lot more but I am totally satisfied.

thats a really good price for it. by now you all know my opinion of moser axles. (i dont like them, i feel they are weaker than stock axles). you might see if they will do currie or stange s/s axles for the same or a few bucks more.
i couldnt come close to that price. the parts alone come out more than that. good find.
