I have taken the inside panel off and removed the nut, also the screw. Now what about the trim going up the molding ? I need to remove the boomerangs but don't want to break anything. Any tips on this ?

No need to remove the rain gutter trim in order to get the boomerang off. It may help to remove the quarter window, but not required. Once you remove the nut and the screw, the boomerang is still "stuck" to the car in butyl around the post on the boomerang. Might take a gentle pry to get it loose.

Craig once I removed the weather striping the piece came right out. Then I snapped the striping back in place and Off to the other side. Thanks Rick
