Ok, not really "new" but I bought this old girl the other day for $800. My girlfriend and I were talking about how we need a fullsize pickup for jobs that her Ranger just isn't capable of doing so I looked around and found this. She really wanted me to get something new(ish) but to be honest, I really don't want a new rig. For less than the cost of a car payment and insurance on a new rig, I can own and put fuel into a rig that I actually like.

The body has a lot of surface rust, but that's about it. She's got a nothing-particularly-hot 360 FE with some aftermarket headers. Interior is decent, floors aren't too bad.

haha, yeah, you're right. I think his was a 6th gen, but very, very similar! I'm thinking I'm going to cut around the rust in the second picture and use a piece of sheetmetal to patch it, and then build all new floors out of diamond plate coated in truck bed liner. My buddy does that with his rigs. It looks cool and it's easy to come by if you look around on the local classifieds for old diamond plate truck tool boxes.
