I recently installed a power brake system into my 1971 302 mav and noticed that I need to increase the vacuum for my power brake booster because my foot pedal strokes farther to brake. Yes, I benched the master cylinder and bleeded my brakes accordingly. I need to know if any of you have had to do this and what was used to resolve this issue. Please provide enough part detail so I can buy, thanks everyone.

when you installed the brake pedals did you install the shim that is required.
that would make the pedal travel further than the old one if you have any other questions feel free to call 270 302 1317 raymond

Yes, the kit from ebay came with the foot pedal assembly, 4 about 1" long spacers "steel" that have to be placed between the firewall and foot pedal assembly inside the car.
