I am putting an original power steering set up from my 4dr mav to my 2dr mav. There is a bracket that bolts on to the frame rail and on the 2dr mav there are no threaded inserts where the bracket bolts on. Does anyone know anything about this or how I should address the problem? Thanks for any help.

You could weld some nuts in the frame. Thats what the factory does. I Thought all mavericks had the threaded holes for that.

The bracket is 90 degrees. it bolts on the bottom of the frame rail as well as on the inside. i couldn't use the nut idea because the bracket runs flush against the frame rail. any other ideas?

    putting p/s on a none p/s maverick

ok, all maverick have the holes there but not all of them do not have threads in them, so for the people that has done this with out threads what did you do to put threads in there.on one maverick I cut a hole in the frame rail and places the nuts in that way.has anybody done this and how did you do yours.
