Talk to the previous owner. Nice guy. It has 3.70 gears with a mini-spool. He raced it but said he drove it around town more. OP updated with year...
Great score! If you decide you wanna get rid of that rearend let me know. You know you don't need it.
you're first on the list I wish they multiplied though...the way it looks, my other mav will have 5 lug disc on the front and a 4 lug rear. I have to make a pilgrimage to the nearby pull-a-parts as the local one had notta
Yes! My roommate visits Alabama on a regular basis to see his GF who's at Samford for school. Actually he's there now. I can also roadtrip. Meeting another maverick enthusiast is always fun. Please keep me in mind for that. It would be going into this head turner. Brandon's Mav Edit: For sure. 2hr 43min from here. If I left in the morning, I could be back for elevenzees.
I'm always around! Have met quite a few on this board, most recently Starsky74 from your neck of the woods. You need to plan on coming to Cruisin-The-Coast next month. We'll have a few Maverick guys there. Would love for you to be able to join us.
I just have my f250 to cruz in, but I could get the rear that weekend. That would be ultimate planning. It would be sweet to see the cars. PM me a price and we can go from there. Edit: Nevermind. That's right, CTC is in Mississippi. I can come get the rear before then.
Going to meet Mr. Jimmy(previous owner) tomorrow. I hope to get some track stories and some more info on the car. Very excited! classss willllll goooooo byyyyy soooo slowwwww EDIt: Well, I talked to Mr. Jimmy about the racing life of the car. When it first got the 351 in it, he took it down the track in a whopping 14 seconds. Needless to say, he took it back home and got the motor running right and put some real gears in it. The car never made it back to the track and just cruised around town. Double edit: IT'S A GRABBER another edit: it's not a grabber. There is another car, the grabber, but this is not it. SO I get two cars. the grabber is just a rolling chassis.
