broke into the 10s

    first time out with the revised engine combo it ran 11.96 on motor then went 10.92 on a 175 shot the track officials said i couldnt run that fast again without a certified cage

    does ayone know of a good premade certified cage or am i going to have to build one the local track goes by ihra rules

    the car is a stock interior car with homemade subframe connectors and drive shaft loop its runnin the factory 8inch with 4.11s and a spool

    the engine is a .040 over 302 with stock crank with scat stock replacement rods with arp bolts it has some old heavy trw forged pistons (flat tops) the cam is a summit racing street strip cam it has .512 lift i cant remember the rest of the specs of hand but it has procomp alum. heads with a edelbrock performer air gap intake with a holley street hp 650dp and thats really it

    oh and the tranny is a manual reverse valvebody c4 with a revmax 4200 stall converter

    Sounds like you have a nice budget build on the go. I know a bunch of cars with some high priced parts and labor that wont pull your times. Well done.
