    Hey all,
I purchased two oem ford bullet mirrors, I have a 69.5 mav with one Chrome mirror on the drivers side.i need to know the correct mounting measurements for the bullet mirrors.as the chrome mirror has a smaller flange and of course the lack of pass side. Maybe some pics too. Thanks!

The mirror housing was used on several cars but the mounting pedestal was unique for the Maverick. Look up inside the base and see what the codes are. They should be like a D0DB or D1DB. If you have Torino mirrors they will mount but will be cocked a little.

Search for mirror nutserts or mirror rivnuts - info there on mounting. The simple way is to use the existing front mount from your old mirror and add the nutsert for the back mount. Then copy the same location over to the passenger side. Doing it this way will hide the old mirror location hole and make for a clean installation. There are also base gaskets for these mirrors
