I tried to go to Bumper Boyz website and it no longer exists. After a bit of Googling, I found alot of gripes on different forums. Anyone know what happened to them?

Don't know but I think Jean Doll said they did bad work. Could have been someone else said that but it was said.

I'm very dis-satisfied with their service. I spent very good money with them and it took me close to six months to get a decent set of bumpers...and I did say "decent". They will get no more of my money if they're still in business.

I bought a bumper from them at Carlisle one year. After about 6 weeks the chrome started peeling off. I found they hadn't cleaned and copper plated the bumper before applying the nickel and chrome, just plated right over the rust. When I called them about a replacement they said I had to pay to ship it to California from Pennsylvania. I hope they're out of business for good.

Moving to cosmetics - you will get a better response than in the classified section.

I have heard nothing but bad things about them, both on here, in real life, and on another site for old Ford trucks.

They are still in business. They were in Carlisle last week.
I have their bumpers. I am not happy with their quality.
They are okay, not terrible, just not real good IMO.

I had my frt done by them because I tend to beat my car very hard......it has held up fpr about 7 years and is now just starting to get what I would call spider web lines in the chrome. I paid less than $200.00 for shipping. I have a buddy that has a new chroming system that is more like powder coating and is supposed to stick to anything and is sprayed on. You could chrome a whole car this way.....
