im looking for a bumper for my torino and i bought a windshield wiper switch from a guy on ebay and i asked him was the rear bumper some good and he said yes no rust on it and chrome is all good, but it has a push in dent... im wondering by looking at the pic would that dent push back out, its right above the licence plate... judge for yourself.

Even from that small photo, I can see from the trunk lid gap, that it is pushed in, so I am guessing it is quite a bit. As Jeff said, a bumper shop should have no problem making it right, if that was your intent. If you were looking at just trying to straighten it and bolt it on, I would keep looking.

Does your '72 have bumper guards too? If not, you will have the extra holes for those and the extra holes for the trailer hitch to contend with.

i dont know why that pic is so small... i do have bumper guards for it.... as far as keep looking, i have trust me its seems like the bumpers ive founded go from 69-71 then 74-76, 72 and 73 being the same rear bumper... he wants 65.00 for it, im guessing 165.00 total for everything, better than 550.00 rechroming....

'73's (and a few stray late '72's) have a large rubber pad in the center of the rear bumper.

Did you check these guys: http://www.blueoval6079.com/7279torino.html

    They claim to have some.
