Does any one know about any other bumper that will fit a maverick, I bout my 74 without a bumper, the rear bumper has already been switched to the early style, and would like to do that for the front if I can find a good one. If not I am wondering if I can make some other type of bumper fit like one from a mustang or something. I am a metal guy and I can cut and weld. What do you guys think?

Another suggestion at one point was that aluminum Fairmont bumpers might be close to a good fit, but I have never seen anyone follow through on that.

    I had those thoughts.

The fiberglass thing tickles me as power to weight ratio guy as I already have a fiberglass hood, however it also means that people can hurt my baby alot easier. The other late bumper modification is an option although I would still need to find a 74 bumper. Well first i need to find a grill mesh for my lower opening , lets see what Lowes has.
