    Hey Guys,
I'm putting a small bumper on the front of my '73. I'm starting from scratch with '72 bumper brackets and a F'glass bumper.
Does anyone have some tips about if the frame rails have the correct holes for those brackets, or will I need to drill some. I'd like to save the time of standing there with the jig saw puzzle till inspiration strikes!! (Know what I mean!!)

As I said, I haven't a small bumper car to go scope out. Any help would be appreciated.

    Bob:

I put a '73 bumper on my '76 a while back and I had to drill new clearance holes in the bumper brackets. This way I was able to use the existing frame rail threads on the '76.

I'm not sure how the '72 and '73 compare, but they may be different. Most likely it will be in the distance apart between holes. (Also, if I remember right, the '73 had 3 holes on each side. You'll only need 2).

All I can suggest is measuring the distance between holes on the frame and then measuring the '72 brackets.
