you can section and set back the bumpers that makes them appear smaller, that or if ya must switch to the small ones,....just have to find all the parts

This was my opinion until I came across my 74 ... It was too nice to pass up even with the big bumpers ...

Just keep in mind converting to small bumpers is not usually an inexpensive project:

Set of Rechromed Bumpers ... $500 or so
Nice Front and Rear Valance ... $200 or so
Gravel guard and front and rear bumper brackets ... $150 or so ....
Bumper bolts, Miscellanious nuts and bolts, rear inner trunk brackets, drill bits, welding labor ... $150

    See what I mean?

I have a 74 I'm fixing up for my daughter. I also have a 72, it's just not in as good of shape. The cowls leak on the 72. I am still torn between making the 74 a small bumper car or trying to sink the big bumpers back into the car more. It seems like sinking them back in might look pretty good.
