Hello! I ran across this site while i was searching for info about a 77 maverick that i am buying. I thought i would give it a try. I dont know anything about car, especially older ones. I am trying to find out if this is a good deal or not. It has had a one time owner. It cranks and runs and isnt as loud as i thought an older car would be. Has only 66 thousand original miles on it. It has has been sitting so the carberator needs to be repaired. The body is in very good condition. No dents only minor scratches I believe original body parts. The paint looks really good ..New tires... He just put in new spark plugs and wires, oil change, gas line was rusted out but he replaced that today. He is selling to me for $500.00. Please let me know if this is a good deal cuz i dont know:huh: i would really appreciate it.

:Welcome: to the board...sounds like a very good deal to me! Is it a 6 or an 8? Interior parts are not tough to find. Post a pic if you can...but if its like you say I would buy it in a second(maybe two seconds..give or take)

Sounds like a good deal. Older cars will require work. If you cant do it yourself, you'll have to pay someone else to do it. Just keep that in mind.
