What ever flywheel you have on your six - it will not work on a 302.
All six cylinder flywheels and flexplates are made with zero counter-balance. All V-8s (unless you have a specialty build) are built with a positive counter-balance. Either 50 or 28 ounce depending on the year of your engine.

    Cometguy,
there is no couterbalance on a six cylinder flexplate. The 302 needs a counterbalance or tghe engine will vibrate worse than a Harley missing on one cylinder.

Your not looking very hard. ;)

You can get a new flexplate from Summit, Jeg's, Ebay and any local auto parts outlet.

An early 70's v8 will have a 28oz balance. Small bell housing C4 will use a 157 tooth and large bell housing will use 164 tooth. Most likely you will needs a 157 tooth, 28 oz balance with a 10.5 inch bolt circle.
