:thumbs2:I've had the pan off several times trying to get it stop leaking with no luck. I've tried to make sure the bolt holes are good shape not bent any still no luck. I'm guessing its warped. My question is I have a C5 pan that should bolt right up are these the same as the deep C4 pans? And what filter should I get? Part# would be great or what make and year vehicle? How much more fluid will it hold? Sorry so many question thanks for the help.:thumbs2:

Be sure the dipstick tube and modulator valve isn't leaking. They run down the case and can fool you. Im not sure if the c-5 filter will bolt up but i know the pan will.

I mean a C4 filter like the truck filters. I know the dipstick not leaking but i'm not sure on the modulator valve but i don't think it is.

With a C5 pan you can use either the deep filter from a Mustang II or the filter and drop tube from a Bronco. If you need the part numbers I can try to get them for you.

Leak is stopped now. But may have another problem ever since I changed the pan to a deep pan and filter for a Mustang II when ever its sits over night and drive it the next day it doesn't want to shift for a few seconds but after it does its shifts fine from then on. Any help would be great!(y) I was thinking maybe low on fluid but it full on the stick.

Sounds like "morning sickness", How many miles on this C4?
note: "Morning sickness" is caused by oil leaking past the apply pistn seals reducing the clutch pressure. It usually involves the forward clutch so reverse engages with no hesitation. The root cause is heat and age - hardens the seals and then they crack. The only cure is a rebuild.
