Hi I haven't been on here in a while. Haven't really worked on the maverick in a while either but my concern is I want to go with a hydraulic clutch manual transmission.

Main concern is how would I go about doing this? I'm thinking the t5 will bolt up to my 250 six cylinder but I'm not sure.

What flywheel/clutch would I need to go with? Stock 250 part numbers or 302 parts?

I'm not concerned with the pedal assembly because I have a Tilton floor mount setup already so that's why I want to go with a hydraulic clutch.

I read an article on the tech articles page of someone who did this to his 250 but I need a little more details. I'm fairly new on swapping over parts, I'm used to going with whatever is supposed to be there, not interchanging.

If you get a late 90's T5 from a V-6 Mustang you could use a neutral balance flywheel from a 300 truck 6 cylinder and the transmissions can be picked up cheap. If you go that route you should be able to use the clutch for the Mustang. For the hydraulics there should be plenty of kits from the aftermarket for the Mustang that you could use.
