C4 Trans Pan Gasket

    DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF A GOOD THICK REUSEABLE TANS PAN GASKET FOR A C4 :huh:

    This may not be your problem, but I changed out 3 pan gaskets thinking they were leaking and it was my dipstick o-ring letting fluid run down where I couldn't see it and running around the pan and dripping in the back, but to answer your question I bought my last kit from NAPA and it had a hard rubber gasket in it.

    i agree, i also experienced the same problem. i replaced the gasket 4-5 times before i realized that the problem was the o-ring. but as far as a re-useable gasket, dont know of any. advance sells a pretty good rubber gasket in the filter kits, might give it a try. hope this helps :)

    my last one leaked last week. we took it off and someone had torqued the bolts down and pulled the bolt holes in. we put the pan on a dolly and hammered it back into shape. i was told there is a gasket that has metal where the bolts go, but i haven't looked for it yet. if you need a thick gasket i'd check the pan for straightness first.:)
