most of the aftermarket ones are adjustable with a small screw in the vacuum port. Clockwise raises the shift point, counterclockwise lowers it.

Just go a quarter turn at a time and keep track of how far you've turned and which way.
    Good luck frank!

Just put in a manual trans. Than you can shift it whenever you feel like it.

Frank; had that trouble with mine, and I turned the screw to the right till it just touched the stop. It wouldn't shift till I hit 80, but I at least knew I had the right direction. Then I backed it down, and got it where I wanted it. It is still a bit low, but it get a bit better gas mileage that way. Give that a try, but be carefull not to go too far...might jam or break the diaphragm. Let me know how it goes. I'm going out after a bit..when it warms up some, and work on the relay box. Later,

    Earl

    The modulator gets manifold vacuum.
I always plumb the pcv valve into the air cleaner.

I have a breather on the drivers side and the pcv valve on the passenger side plumbed into the bottom of the air cleaner.
If you want to get really trick about it, you could make up a balance tube to go between the valve covers like the circle track guys do, but I think if you set it up similar to what I'm running you'll be just fine.
