    Making some head way on the comet, would like to make the cal trac brackets myself , just wondering if anyone has a pattern? thanks

    no pattern , maybe some motivation - fabbed' these for the the '61 Comet :

    Puny rear springs bent upward just behind front spring hanger on first full power launch. First used 'Shelby bars' before using some of it for the CloneTracs. NO wheel hop / spring wrap after install. I made them adjustable for street ( loose) or strip setting (tight) . Now with full power launch car lifts - hooks and GOES ...

    I've never used them myself, but there's no denying they're a huge advancement for drag racing on leaf springs.

    Thanks Powerband , the holes looks to be about 6'ctc is this close? and looks like you made your spring bushing also nice job

    '73 Ford Maverick Resto-Mod (Home-made "Pony Car")
    I love Caltracs. I don't have them on my Maverick (I don't drag race, and I don't have wheel-hop problems) but a friend of mine has 'em on his '73 Camaro...
