Decided to use my short Block to keep cost down.
Carb is undecided.......

Still using the 3.40 8 inch with some mods to make it live(and it will, screw all you nay sayers) Tires size is only 25 inches tall and with the Road Race gear set in the trans I don't need no stinking 4.10s

 

How about 4.62's?

 

With the cost of these tires almost 1000.00 a set. I want to be able to make them last for at least one year.

Mr. Stout I have worked my ass off since I was 14(now30 owned the car all that time too) to get this far and will till I die or incapicitated otherwise. Nothing has ever been handed to me. I have a career that I have invested in. I make good money but am not rich. I am broke at the end of the week like 90 percent of the people on this board. I have a dream and I will accomplish it no matter the cost. You seem to have an issue with that. I am not bragging about how much I am spending. I am showing members what it takes to build a Road Racer.

I see no issues with listing money spent on a project.
I would rather know what I am getting into by seeing what other people have spent on thier rides.

Your car has come a long way and I like hearing about what you do to it.
I am a little jealous that some guys get to spend some dough on their cars, but I chose to have a wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 birds.
If those things weren't important to me, then I too could spend more dough on my cars...

Anyway, good work! I am happy to live vicariously through guys like you!
Should be a monster when you get this 'phase' done.
