I went to a junkyard and got a inst cluster from a 73 comet it works and all...but non of the lights work on it so i was wondering if i can go to autozone or a napa to get some new lights bulbs for it? and i was woundering how i could set the mileage frome the old inst to the new one?
adjusting mileage If your speedometer is out and you are looking at the back side of it you will see a rod with 6 plastic gears on it. Take a needle nose pliers and gently "pop" the rod off the right side of the clip, tgently pull the rod back turn the "gears" to the appropriate setting then slide the rod back in. It isn't that hard and my terms are slightly vague but once you start you will understand. Good luck
