Can we get 25 cars at Carlisle? Not only can we get our own tent free if we pre-register 25 cars, but MCCI can compete for the largest group participation awards being given this year. Wouldn't that be something?

FYI, there's a burnout show to participate in the Saturday at 7pm at the grandstand. :bananaman :bananaman :bananaman

I am planning on going. My car might be ready by then!

But my ole' heap only counts for about a 1/2 car. so we only need 24 1/2 more cars!

Dale and I are planning to be there too. It's not likely that our 76' Maverick will be finished by then. If it was we would be bringing two Mavericks out. Don't worry about how your Mavericks and Comets look. They are all winners in our eyes. The more that show up the better. Come on folks, bring them on!:D

My grandparents live in pa and I am going to be moving there in june. I might end up going eventually. I know you guys are having your first Virginia Mini meet today but I wouldn't be able to make it anyway. Not to mention its snowing. I will probably join the club sometime soon I just got to deal with all my school stuff. Oh yeah and when is this event? If I am in PA visiting I might go down with my uncle and father. My uncle has a 66 mustang that I think he took there one time so he should know where the place is.

Nice picture My Comet GT. If I had the cash and the room, there would be another 69' Mach 1 sitting along side my Maverick too. As much as I love my Mavericks, I still feel my heart thump when I see a nice Mach 1. To this day I wish I still had mine. It was the only Mustang I had that I was sorry to let go of. Just seeing that pictures brought back a lot of good memories. BTW, we have had about 2" of snow here with more on the way. This winter is getting real old real fast.

    Garage

    Hey Jean
As soon as warm weather gets here Im going to pour a 20' x 20' concrete slab and put another carport like that up and close it in for the harleys. You can buy those here for $595.00. but I will probably add 2 feet to the height for headroom . I have the money but I cant do it till it warms up. breaks my heart to have to leave the comet in the weather like that.I already have 2a rollup door for it and wiring and lights. I used to build metal buildings so it wont be too much trouble. yeah if you remember the stang belonged to my late brother and as soon as his sonfinishes high school I hope to get him up here to start fixing the body for paint. Im trying to get him to paint it the original color like this one but I dont know if I can convince him. It has a 351C with edelbrock intake,Msd ignition, mild cam, quick shift &411 posi.My brother had put a lot of money and time in that car and was about ready to start paint job-bodywork.Heres the color I would like to see him go with Later Tim "my comet gt"

You worry too much, Steve. My cars are sitting covered under a foot of snow. Sad sight. There are these Amish built wood garages that can be erected right on the property for about $5000/one car or about $7500/two car complete, built, and ready to use. Now all I need is the $$! They're nice, too. Obviuosly, the carports don't do a great deal to protect unless you enclose them. The instant garages they advertise are an alternative, though they are nylon and are only supposed to last 15 years. Not a great investment for $500 and up.
