Could be anything, they've had some work done to them. 71-72 Mustang seats maybe? at one time?

They came out of a 73 Maverick but the 73's i've seen whhile doing a search look to be squared off a bit more. The Maverick they came out of was stock besides the seats being redone at one point

The back and basic look appears to resemble my 72 bucket seats--difference is the obvious rework of the seats vinyl. That would be my guess on it; a 72 seat redone based on the back plastic and release looks just like my 72 originals. What does the bottom runners/supports look like? Compare to a posting about seats on that--I did one with measurements etc so you can see what the bottom looks like compared to what you have.
    Good luck.

hmmm, i guess buying used ford seats from ebay and in junk yards would help GM with their financial standing. now the junkyards are really gonna crank up the prices :(

they are not quite the same as 73 up LDO seats and the release latch is off to the side instead of in the center like on the 71-72 grabbers. thats why i vote mustang, ;)
