It's coming up to a year since my lymphoma diagnosis. I thought I would bring you up to speed on developments. Since having the tumor removed in January, I had 6 courses of chemo (3 weeks each) to try to reduce a small mass in my chest. The chemo was fairly mild, so not too unpleasant to deal with, and it was partly successful in that it reduced the size of the swollen nods, though not quite as much as was hoped. The cancer seems to be in remission though, as far as can be determined by C.A.T. scans that I get every 2 or 3 months. I'm waiting for the results of one done last week, but have no reason to suspect any problems, so my family and I just keep asking God for his mercy. He has been good and faithful to us, so whatever happens we will continue to trust His infinite widom and His perfect plan for us. I'll let you know if anything changes. Thanks so much to you who have expressed your concern and/or prayed for us. Sincerely; John B.

Thanks for all of the kind words and prayers. Just got the results from the most recent C.A.T. scan (last week) and there is no change, so it looks like we can relax our watch till at least after thw holidays. A great Christmas gift. By the way, Rick, your "Johnny be good" joke had my wife and I roaring. Thanks for the laughter (the best medicine??). Sincerely; John B.

Sorry it took me awhile to see this post.
    Thats great news John.

    P.S.
I might be wrong here, but we are ALL family here and I do not think that news like this of a fellow member should be posted down here in the "miscellaneous forum". This is a MAIN FORUM subject!!!!!!

But anyway, thanks for keeping us updated and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
