    Hi,
Does anyboby know what car-covers will work for a 77 maverick 2dr? It's starting to rust faster then i can restore it, I don't want it to into a rust bucket:cry:. Iam hoping a used cover will work or maybe something form auto zone that will work fine but don't know what will work:confused:. Anyone have any sugestions let me know.

I've always thought of car covers as a way to keep dust/dirt off. Most of them I have ever seen just trap water under it. I would think a big tarp or something would be better.

If your going to store a car outside, best thing to do is park it on concrete. If thats not an option, go to a home depot and buy the thickest plastic they have. The stuff usually comes in rolls. Spread that out and drive your car on top of it. There is a ton of moisture that comes out of the ground. Next, buy some PVC and glue up a frame over your car. Then put a tarp over that. It needs to breath to keep the moisture out.

When you mean build up a frame around the car you mean like those tents they sell for the suv and turks that are just four pices of pvc and a blue tarp on top to keep it out of the sun right?
