well i'm trying to decide what way to go here, i have a 70 mav with a newer roller motor, 5speed and 8.8, running off a performer rpm intake, 600 double pumper, and an e cam. and it rips as is but i recently had to let go of a 86 t-bird i built using the same motor but with a cobra style efi using a bigger throttle body etc. the guy who bought the car is pro streeting it and had no use for the efi so i'm thinking of putting it on the mav to continue with the modern theme but am worried about relaibilty and weither the wiring can support it give me your thoughts before i sell the set up. thanks jeff

I'd go for it. I don't see why you would have any problem with reliability as long as it's done right.

I did a efi in my mav I would not go back to carb . The car can sit for long period time and will start the first time avery time . Fuel mileage is good ( depending on pressure of the right foot ) driveability is great no matter if I'am at sea level or at 10,000 ft .

    hope this helps
