    A neighbor of mine GAVE me a rebuilt 2 bbl carburetor in a box. Never used. It's a Motorcraft--very, very simular to what are on my 302's.

    Does anyone have a cross-reference book that can tell me what application I have?

    It was rebuilt by US Carburetors with the number 20-502.

    Looks to me like I could use it on my '72 Maverick

    Well.....

    No one has posted that it won't work!

    (I guess I might as well try it out).

    One question: The brass tread on the back is for a heat tube? I'm pretty sure my '72 doesn't have this.

    It looks like the 2150 on my 77 except for that piece you're talking about that sticks out the back.

    It will probably work on your car, but I personally wouldn't put it on your 72. That thing on the back of the carb I have no idea what it even is.

    Here's the portion in question. (The brass is actually a plug. Maybe for some polution control vacuum source).
