    Hey Everyone,

I wanted to replace my carburetor on my 250 L6 Mav. So I went to advanced auto parts. I asked them if they could get me a carb for my Mav. When I got the carb.. it was the YF model Carter Carb. My Mav. originally had the RBS Carb with the Fuel Bowl that kinda hangs off the Carb. Will the YF model work on my 250? My 1974 Shop manual tells me the YF was only used on all 6cyl. engines except the 250. The carb will bolt up.. but I wanna know why or why not it would be bad to put the Carb on.. Not enough power? Dunno...

    Thanks,
    Jason
