Who has the nicest and best fitting molded carpet
for our cars? I have been looking at AccMats and
    AutoKrafters.

    What would you recommend?

I bought mine directly from ACC and only paid $120. That was 2 years ago. I also have used Custom Interiors. (CI) their product was excellent also.

I have said this before, I am going to say it again.
I have ACC carpet-loop pile. I bought it from ACC
    almost 3 yrs. ago.
It sucks! It fits like a 3 fingered glove!

I hate it, it's the most ill fitting carpet that I have
    ever dealt with.

There, I'm done. I wish you well with yours.

    I would go with ACC.

    Big Al,
If I knew of one, I would have suggested it.
I wish there were one. I am just not satisfied with the
quality or fit of my ACC carpet.
I had a guy tell me that he could custom make carpet-$500+.

I don't want to spend that much.

Perhaps mine was just a bad batch. I called them, they said
they couldn't do anything about it. I helped a guy put ACC
carpet in a '67 Mustang. It fit great, and was of better quality
    than mine IMO.

    Thanks again for the shroud.

    Seth

The cut-pile is much nicer than the loop-pile. My Cut-pile from ACC was identical to the original carpet...

If I order it and it's not up to par, I will consider going
the custom route next summer. $500.00 for fantastic
carpet that will last at least 10 years would be worth
it to me. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hey, it was my pleasure!

Hmmm...ACC says that the 80/20 loop is what was in
the car originally and the sample they sent of it does
look like what is in there now.

What do you like about the cut-pile specifically T.L.?

I bought the ACC from AutoKrafters ... I agree with Seth .. Fit like crap but it's in and with the seats and mats in the car the poor fit is not noticeable. I just wish that somebody would mike a nice Maverick Carpet .. and make it two pieces like the original ... They make two pieces or Mustangs so why can't they make it for us?

The LDO interiors were cut pile ... kinda like shag ... it's nice ...

Mine was in 2 pieces from the factory.
The ACC was moulded as 1 piece.
I even considered cutting mine down the middle when I saw
    how off it was.

    complain!!!!

i think whenever theres a problem, people need to call and complain! if you just let it pass these companys will get away with it...i havent been happy with any reproduction part from autokrafters, every time i pull a part from my car i keep it, and compare it to the repo part....absolutly nite n day, factory parts r just made better.....much better quality
