I have a Billet Pertronix Dizzy in my Grabber .. very stock looking. I wanted the factory correct yellow top coil but the repops are all standard voltage. I bought a black Pertronix Flame Thrower II and painted the top yellow with leftover paint from when I did the 1974 Mav. Since I have an Edelbrock Carb there was no room to mount it in the factory location on the intake manifold so I left it on the front of the black where I had the prior yellow Accel Coil. Also .. when I restored the car I had never put the tab back on the cowl. I was getting sick of looking at the hole so I removed the one off the 74 to put on the Grabber. To my surprise when I wire wheeled it the tab turned out to be solid copper. I guess they tarnish quickly so I never even knew they were copper ... looks like a new penny now. I also have the correct Autolite Battery cables and Autolite Upper Radiator hose on their way from Mustangs Unlimited to complete the factory original look under the hood.
Hooker 6901's .... Brass fitting is an adapter for the brake lines ... Ford always uses non-standard sizes on their brake connections so it was needed to adapt to the stainless lines I installed.

I'm having to add one to mine also as i'm converting to front disc and had some trouble finding the jewel (fitting). Your underhood is just awsome man, I can only dream.
My local NAPA had a big chest of all different brass fittings ... they let me go in the back and look through all of them to get what I needed ...
Here are my reference pictures ... both from Hot Rod magazine Road Tests. The 250 is in a 1970 Grabber. The 302 is in a 1971 Grabber. Notice the Yellow Top coil on top of the 302 intake .... The 71 Grabber is nasty dirty because the took the picture after driving it through the snow and salt ... Also ... both articles were in black & white ...
Yep, gets my vote for the nicest Grabber in existance, period. Every inch of that car is just flawless. And it's even more kick ass that it actually gets DROVE to most shows. Alot of cars look better in pictures then they do in real life. You gotta see Dan's car in real life to appreciate it. Pictures don't do that car justice.
It just doesn't look right...I can't figure it out... Maybe if you spray a light coat of oil over it, sprinkle it with a bit of dirt, THEN it would look like a correct stock motor Seriously, that is a really nice piece of work (art?).
