Cause of leak????

    What would cause trans fluid to leak out of the front of the bellhousing? My only idea is, front seal leaking. Anything else?
    Newly rebuilt C-4. No, I didn't do it.

    Possibly the torque converter drain plug, but I doubt it. Probably the seal. How much is it leaking?

    Or the front pump itself. That's not a good choice.

    If it's the front seal, it could be caused by a bad convertor collar as that's what the seal rides on. Check that while you have it out.
