CB wiring help

    I am wiring a cb radio into my 75 maverick and I need to know where I should wire it to. The cigar lighter isnt putting out enough, as I need 2 amps and it gives only one. Any suggestions?

    The cigarette lighter has a thirty amp fuse. 2 amps drawing from it is nothing. You can wire a CB to virtually any circuit. Pick one.

    When I had one, I connected it to the Accessory terminal, which is switched by the ignition key.
