I posted this guys phone # awhile back but I don't have it with me now so I'll have to post it later. The name of the co. is Landshark Coatings. I sent these in to see what Vics(owners name) coating was like, I am very pleased with the results and will have more done later. Now this stuff has always been used for headers and high temp stuff, but it works great on stuff like this also because it doesn't rust, or tarnish and it cleans with soap and water, so overall it is veery low maint. I'm going to try and load a few pics so you can see.

Hey Ward I have a question about that coating, would that last on a set of headers, I am getting a used set from a buddy of mine and was wondering if that coating could handle the heat? They do not have any type of coating now. It was just a thought.

    Thanks,
    Neal

I just had my headers ceramic coated, inside and out. They look awesome! From what I have been told, they really reduce the heat in the engine compartment, and they are not supposed to turn turn color after they get hot. Everyone I have talked to says that it will be the last set of headers I ever own! Not to mention they look good too.

Hey Neal, this coating is really for high temp applications. I just think its a good alternative to paint because it won't tarnish and doesn't rust. Vic told me a new set of headers cost about $175 to have coated. If you call him mention that you seen it on the mav message board, just trying to let him know we spread the word of good products.

Thats a pretty good price on the headers. I paid $200 for mine. I think its the way to go with headers, but thats my opinion.....and everyone knows what they say about opinions! :)
