Ok, finally up graded to a high torque starter, redid the wiring the way the directions state and now I cant get the car started. The car has been sitting for roughly a month or so, nothing out of the normal. The car having 11 1/2 to 1 compression I normally had to pump the gas and work the starter. Now, the start spins fast and I pumped the gas and it doesnt fire, tries to but also quickly smells flooded. I checked and yes it has spark. Any ideas orios the car just flooded out?
    Thanks for any info

If you have spark and fuel it should start, look down the throat of the carb and see how wet it is. If it has a puddle in it then it is probably flooded, walk away for a while and try again. Still no start after that pull a spark plug and see if it is soaked. I know after mine has sat for that long it needs a lot of pumping to get it started as I have no choke. Good luck
