Ok I am about to change from a performer 289 edelbrock manifold to a weiand stealth. Will I notice a difference out of the gate, they say the stealth makes power from idle to 6800 rpm. I am also changing carbs from a 500 edelbrock to a 600. Next step is hooker headers and comp cam and lifter combo. Any feedback on this?
    Jim (y)

Also my 66 289 closed chamber heads will be ready this week (y)

How long before you do the cam? If fairly soon, just wait, cuz you will have to do the intake all over again...

nevermind.....I assume you are talking about the Arkansas meet.

I checked the MCCI website and seen it, also realized that the KY. mini-meet that same day is NOT on the calendar of events  :hmmm:
