Anyone know what size hose runs from canister to intake? Also are you just getting a universal hose and cutting or is there a original type out there?
I'm thinking it's 3/4" because My Maverick came with a heater hose for the vapor hose. The original hose were made of paper and wire. The Dorman HELP replacement is made from shinny tin. A little bit of BBQ black spray pant knocks the shine off and makes it look like it should. I seen the original hose going for big bucks on eBay.
Is this it? http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-230...rick&parttype=Hose - Control Duct (Pre-Heater) It says its 2". I have no issues saving money and painting.
I thought I measured mine at 3/4". Mine was all torn and busted. I was just going to go with something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GATES-28092...Parts_Accessories&hash=item53f3e44ba9&vxp=mtr
The correct Ford part is a D4ZZ 9D667 A. Not sure if you can still get it but I know you could about 5 or 6 years ago.
No I didn't order this one. I got mine from a member when I got the charcoal canister. It was shinny aluminum
As requested: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=42&partnum=96026 I also added a 5% coupon code which change, easy to google latest one though.
I know this thread is a few months old. Do I have to use the charcoal at all or can it be removed? If not where do you get a new canister?
