    i couldn't find a grabber hood and i'm broke right now and trying to get my car painted. so, i decided to do something different. let me know what you guys think. i think it looks pretty nice. :thumbs2:

    thanks for the compliments! no clearance issues with the vitals. any further forward or back and there would be. i'll put up some pics of the bottom when i get it ready for paint. i'm tossing around the idea of insetting a third brake light above the rear window in the same style.
    i don't mind cutting on this car considering there isn't a straight panel on it. :mad: it's taken me 3 weeks just to strip it in preperation do do the actual body work. 5 coats of rattle can and 2 coats of "real" paint make for some good cussin'.

    simple stuff really. just make sure nothing is going to be in the way of the fan. mark your holes, cut hood and bracing with a jig-saw, make side peices, hammer in a crease at the back of the openings, (otherwise the metal will not lay flat in the scoops) put the side peices in place and mark them, cut sides, put it all together and spot weld it all together. fun stuff!!
