With Big-n-littles and factory Hub Caps ! I thought it looked pretty cool. After the page loads ...click the "zoom photo" link above the pic. http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=024S009G000044&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 I want my car to Launch just like that !
I had wondered weather to post this in "cosmetic" due to the purpose of the post was to show the wheel and tire combo...or To post it in "General" due to I was simply showing a cool looking car/tire wheel combo...or to post it in "Drag Racing" because the car in the pic is in fact Drag racing. Or to post it in "off topic" BUT it is in fact a post about a Maverick so I decided against that for sure. So I ended up throwing caution to the wind and posted it in "General"... Where it was Promptly Moderated into the "Drag racing" area...Now I will always wonder if those guys who mostly hang out in the "Cosmetic" forum will EVER see it
hum thats at LACR (Los Angeles County Raceway which really isn't anywhere near LA .. lol) never seen that car b4
was going to say that was at palmdale. which is an nhra track. which makes that wheel combination illegal as in no hubcaps allowed.
i wonder what ..tire.. you can put on a rim that will take hubcaps that will hook like that... ...frank... a sleeper for sure
Summit carries a 15x8" Ford OEM-style wheel that can run a poverty cap and ring, can put a pretty wide tire on it. I'm thinking of buying a pair for my slicks.
That is awesome. I'm gonna have to head up to LACR and find that guy. Don, that was the hangover nationals. The tech guy must have been hung over LOL.
That thing is sick! My dad and I narrowed the front wheels on my car. Where in the world does a guy find the 15" beauty/trim rings? Best regards, Tony Reiners
The reason I sent it to the Drag Racing Forum is the Title . Sorry to get you worked up. If it pleases you I can move it to the cosmetic and change the title for you. BTW glad you posted this pic. I like Sleepers,
