How good are cherry bomb mufflers performance wise compared to the dynnmax turbo?

What cherrybomb? I have their turbo II muffler on my 200ci. I didnt feel any performance over the magnaflow i had on before. Then i swapped in a flowmaster and it felt the same.

I run the cherry bomb pros and love the sound they produce.

They both make a lot of different models, I have had dynomax ultraflos and Cherry Bomb vortex. I like Dynomax stufff better. Vortex was too quiet for me. apples to apples, the Dynomax turbo looks better to me than the Cherry Bomb turbo. They sound great on cars I have known to use em too. Performance-wise, I highly doubt you could see a significant differance

Whats the extreme? Is that the one with the Xpipe inside? Glasspacks are overrated and outdated. Magnaflows are basically a modern glasspack but instead they use a packing material that wont blow out with age. Really you cant go wrong with any performance muffler. It justs a matter of the sound. Im partial to the sound chambered mufflers such as the turbo series and the flowmasters. Your best bet is to look up audio clips on youtube and see what you like. Powerwise theres only going to be at most a 5hp difference between a 20 buck muffler and a $150 one. Spend the money on something else like a set of headers. Also you can hit up your junkyard for mufflers, i even find borlas sometimes. Pay about ten bucks for them then sell them to mustang guys for five times as much.
