All right here is my issue! I just installed headers on my 6 cylinder. Its a 1971 250 w/auto and air condition. I ordered the extra long choke tube that was offered from classic inlines. I really don't like it and I can tell Im not going to be happy with the way it looks after the install. I would like to know if I can replace the hot air choke with an electrical choke from a 1975 to 77 maverick with the same size 250 engine and a Carter carb. ? I believe this choke is a one wire part and I"m guessing the wire can be tied into any hot with key on terminal. I would like some advise and opinions on this. Pro's and Con's !
    Thanks in advance ...
    Bob

You could always get a manual choke.
