went to the track at tucson last night. was 1 point behind the leader. they give 10 points per round and 1 bonus point to the winner. he went out the first round and the guy i was tied with was a no show. i went to the finals and had an .008 redlight. i'm now in 1st by 9 points (less than 1 round) over the guy that won last night. hope i can keep from screwing up as there's only 2 more races for the season. :)

I, like you, am sure Don meant he red-lit by eight thousandths regardless of the tree - however - I'll admit I had a -.3XX red light once. :rofl2:

I just freaked out and left on the second bulb (I guess  ). I just wanted to keep driving to the house without stopping in the pits where my buddy's were. :ashamed:

yep, was actually a .492 light on a .500 tree. the lights at our tracks here go by .000. the hard part is that you get 1 extra point for winning so it's like the last round is worth 2 rounds. so instead of being ahead by 1 round, i would have been ahead by 3 rounds. still it was fun.:)
