OK - The question is spray bomb chrome. It's been about 10 years since I tried this stuff. When I did, I thought that it looked like a nice shiny grey paint. No where near as bright as the original chromed plastic parts. Has this stuff gotten any better in 10 years? If it has - what brand do you recommend? I'm not looking for a spray on bumper cover. But I would like something for the small parts like the side marker light bezels.

I used some duplicolor chrome paint on some interior pieces on one of my cars. Does not look like chrome, but looks better than flaked old grungy stuff. Actually painted a portion of my model A bumper that was peeling, just for kicks, nobody has ever noticed.

I heard the chrome that's on the transfer paper type stuff that you rub on works pretty well, it has a special kind of epoxy, just hearsay though.

It depends on what you are painting on how you expect it to turn out. I needed to refinish the a/c dash vent in the 4 door. I used Krylon chrome and it turned out surprisingly good. Just a bit duller than original, but it looks very nice.
