Hey that's sweet, i have the same one but it's blue, and i would say not as rare as yours, but mine starts on the first turn of the key! 600 posts BABY!!!
Nice find there ... the pattern on there is still in pretty nice shape ... does look like it did take a couple of rides on its roof, though ... means it was enjoyed . BIG money? ... not quite, but likely $30-40. To go for more than that, it would have to be painstakingly perfect, and would likely top out at about $60-70. That car was from the SuperChrome series from 1975 or 76. Not a true chrome, they were vaccuum metalized similar to how plastic is chromed for dash parts in full scale cars. BTW, The colored pattern is not a decal ... it was rolled on by a machine (two in this case, two colors) and is called a "tampo". Even after years of collecting these, it is still very difficult not to add a "n" to the end of that word ... As a childhood memory, I say keep it. Wish I still had mine ... my bratty cousin ended up with them ... I have over-compensated for that now though ...:evilsmile
