cleaning rims?

    just bought some aluminum wheels for my mav and was wondering if anyone new what a good way to clean them up they have some water spots on them i guess thats what u would call it they are white spots on it

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Are they clear coated or "naked" aluminum.....makes a difference.

    im not sure if they are coated or not is there a way i can tell i did scrape the dirty parts with my finger and it looked like it flaked off

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    take a picutre of the rim and there is a good chance i can tell you if its coated or not.
