I need some help with my clutch linkage. I took my trans out a couple years ago and I'm trying to get my T-5 installed. I'm using all of my stock clutch linkage. My problem is I don't see how the rod that pushes in the clutch fork attaches to the Z bar. I've attached pics below, any help is appreciated. Also I haven't been able to locate that rod yet either :(

    Maybe

Well I already have the part mounted to the block, with the ball on it. The part I took a pic of is the bottom half that hangs down right next to the trans mission. I may try to take a pic of it installed tonight, but it was hard enough to get it attached around the headers, not sure if I can get a camera up there.

The part in your picture is the side that mounts to the block. Sure you don't have it backwards?

    Clutch rod

I was looking at that exploded view, and I may be able to make that rod. It doesn't seem like anything special just a rod with a pointed end and a piece that juts from the side to go through that bottom half of the z bar. That is unless you think I could find it at pull-a-part. Actually I don't even know if that place is still around. I got my granada setup for my front discs there a few years ago.

Just buy one brand new from a Mustang store ... i.e. Mustangs Unlimited ...

    Name?

What's that rod called? Do you know if I can also get the part that passes through the z-bar?

That spring is used to hold the lower clutch rod in place so there is no way it could ever fall off the fork. It attached between the z-bar and the clutch fork.

    Point of no return

Not that special compared to others' projects, but I cut the hole in my trans hump last night for my T-5. A little scary b/c up til now nothing was permanent.

I plan on swapping a toploader in my car as soon as I get all of the parts to do it. Cutting that hole for theshifter is the only thing thing I do not look forward to doing.
