Do I need to use a sping compressor to remove the coils from the front of the Mav? Installing the Granada spindle stuff and I've realized that I'd better check (or replace) all of the wear items while I'm in this deep. Advise?

I should have been more specific, I plan to replace the shocks and would like to inspect the upper spring seats as well. Thanks, Todd

Yes, and remove the A arm to check the A arm bushings and shaft for wear along with the other items you're going to check/replace.
